Thank you @omptymedia for the invite!
Commanding an impressive view of Bondi Beach sits the recently renovated North Bondi RSL.
The venue offers some great pub classics, as well as a few restaurant-esque dishes.
I could taste the squid’s salty freshness immediately, which paired nicely with the creamy aioli. Unfortunately the batter was a bit soft so there wasn’t an amazing crunch as we bit into each piece.
Arguably our favourite dish of the day, the seafood linguine was bursting with fresh, salty seafood and a killer tomato-based sauce. To top everything off, the pasta was also cooked beautifully.
I haven’t had a parmi this good for a long time. The chicken schnitzel’s coating was golden and crunchy, giving way to some tender and juicy chicken. A fine, thin drizzle of sauce was poured on top. I loved that it wasn’t slathered on so that the schnitzel stayed crunchy. The slice of melted cheese bought everything together with its cheesey goodness.
